Ob-Gyn questions? Ask a gynecologist online.
Hello, I'm Ted Manos MD, board certified obgyn. You have what's called a carbuncle that's an isolated skin infection that will eventually heal. It may bust again and drain. You should keep a bandaid over it which absorbs the drainage. These things just happen and are from bacteria that somehow started it. You don't usually need an antibiotic but should be checked if you have other spots developing.
