Customer Question

Last time i had sex with my boyfriend was a week ago and since I've been having an uncomfortable feeling in my vagina first there was an abnormal white discharge more than usual and then itching right in the entrance of my vagina and now I'm not sure what it is but I feel like a ball right one side of the wall of my vagina. I checked with a mirror and I see something kind of covering the hole of my vagina.

Hello,

the symptoms you describe can be caused by a jeast infection. I would suggest the use of clotrimazole (obtainable over the counter), if this doesn´t resolve the problem, an examination by your OB/GYN would be necessary.

Hope you get well soon, best regards,

Dr. N. Scheufele

Thanks so much. For how long should I wait to see a doctor in case the medicine doesn't help?
Expert:  Dr Norbert Scheufele replied 11 months ago.

This treatment should succeed after 3-4 days. If not, please visit your doctor.
