.Hi, I am privileged to help you get more understanding about your current concern.
When cysts are formed they are generally described by their size, location, and components. The component of a cyst can be purely fluid known as a simple cysts; or fluid in pockets which are called complex. The complex cysts pockets have thin separations or walls surround the fluid. Think of a simple cyst as a container filled with fluid; the complex cyst has a smaller container inside the original container, or two or more smaller containers within, also filled with fluid.
The importance is that simple cysts almost always resolve on their own within a menstrual cycle. Complex cysts may take longer to resolve, some may not resolve just remain the same size. Others some may require surgery to remove because of the size.
