Customer Question

I can't seem to find any info on what would be considered a normal upper limit on endometrial thickness in a premenopausal woman. I measured at 20.7mm but that was 3 days before menses commenced. Could that value be considered normal in light of the phase of menstruation I was in?

I was evaluated by transvag ultrasound for regular, but heavy periods with clotting. Ovaries were negative. No spotting in between periods. Cycles are every 28 days. Periods last 5-7 days. Was also found to be anemic which prompted the exploration of my menstrual hx.

Over 16 mm in any phase of the cycle is abnormal. It rarely means anything though.
