Hi, I am privileged to help you get more understanding about your current concern.

A few questions first to clarify your concern:

1. When was the abortion (date please)?

2. What was the date you did the pregnancy test?

3. Are you now having any bleeding since the abortion? If so, is it light, spotting, or heavier?

I had abortion two weeks ago and yes I had my periods and also i checked this week and showed positive and again it showed negative

Thanks for your response.

After an abortion it will take time for a urine pregnancy to become negative, this can vary from 2-3 weeks. So the positive then negative is not a cause for concern. A blood pregnancy test is more accurate but if you are not having any worrisome symptoms such as pain on one side, fever, chills (signs of an infection) then I would just repeat the test in another week. At that point it should be repeated negative.

Let me know if you have any further questions on this issue.
