I've had some anal itching, slight pain, and some small lesions

Customer Question

I've had some anal itching, slight pain, and some small lesions on my perineum. I'm 35 yo F, used to wear thong underwear until this started, about 4 months ago. Not sure what it could be or what to do.

Lesions bleed occasionally after I wipe following bowel movement. I haven't been constipated.

I only use summer's Eve feminine wash for sensitive skin to cleanse. No wash cloth just my hands, gently, because it's irritated. Perineum is pale and looks a little swollen.

Is anyone going to help me?
Expert:  Dr. K. replied 1 year ago.
Lesions on the anal area that bleed could be venereal warts. They look like pink or white cauliflower like growths. They are common in the anal area. They itch and can bleed when touched.

No cauliflower growths. I was tested for STD's anout a year ago and have been monogamous with my fiancé for over 4 years

Lesions are on the perineum, like little tears.

It's like my skin is too fragile and it tears.

Where'd you go? Doc?
Expert:  Dr. K. replied 1 year ago.
You may have a skin condition called lichen sclerosis. The skin can be pale, fragile and tear easily. about 1-2 percent of women are affected. It is a dermatologic condition. It is treated with a high dose steroid cream available by prescription from your Dr.
