Customer Question

Hi I'm a 21 year old female I've only had sex 4 times in my life and I always use condoms, most of the time it was with my ex boyfriend and the last time was with a we'll know friend, I recently started to get bumps on my vagina lips and also near my rear end, at first I thought I had just cut myself with my razor but now it's started to burn .. I'm not sure what is going on

Hello
What is your question exactly?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I want to know what is going on I don't know exactly what I have I am always we'll maintained and most of the symptoms match a uti but the bumps also match herpes
Expert:  Dr. Thomas, MD replied 1 year ago.
Yes I understand.
So the bumps have to be swabbed and sent to the lab to see if they are herpes.
Another possibility is folliculitis..infection of hair follicles.
Warts......
Without an exam and visualization...can not be more precise than that.
OK, so that is an initial answer….

Ok so I will have it checked out but what treatments do you recommend I use until I see a doctor
Expert:  Dr. Thomas, MD replied 1 year ago.
None.
There is no home treatment for either condition.
Herpes requires acyclovir, which is prescription.
Folliculitis requires an antibiotic, which is prescription.
You can use hot sitz baths to see if it helps, but it might not.
