My daughter is now 27 and the last few years she passed out a few times. She can feel it before she passed out. Her tummy start paining a lot, sweat on her arms and just before passing out she can not focus at all. When she passed out she do not know what had happen and she wakes up with a terrible headache. What can be the cause of this? She went to doctors and the did tested her for epilepsy but there is no sign of that.

Dr. Owen : Hello, I am Dr Owen, I am a Board Certified Ob/Gyn Medical Doctor and I want to help you.
Dr. Owen : Hello
Dr. Owen : Does this occur around the time of her period?
Dr. Owen : Or about 2 weeks before her period occurs?
Dr. Owen : Does she have anxiety / stress?

Good day Dr Owen

Dr. Owen : HI

well she had a little bit of stress but I can not think it can be that

Dr. Owen : What about the other questions I asked?

does not occur before period

Dr. Owen : Does this occur during her period, just before her period or about 2 weeks prior to her period

this happen after she had her period

Dr. Owen : How many days after she starts?

about 2 weeks after

Dr. Owen : Does she use birth control at all?

can it be something about her hear?

i mean heart?

Dr. Owen : I assume she has been tested for diabetes and a thyroid problem too - and iif she has not then she should be checked for that.

she had been tested for this allready

Dr. Owen : In addition, given when this happens this could be due to ovulation - since ovulation involves a SURGE in hormone levels such as Estrogen - and hence what helps is actually starting on a birth control to actually control the hormone levels

she is going again today to her doctor and thn she will discuss this with him

Dr. Owen : So usually when nothing else can be found and she is otherwise healthy - then I think starting on a birth control to prevent ovulation might help her
Dr. Owen : I wish her well
Dr. Owen : Please click on EXCELLENT for helping
Dr. Owen : Thank you
Dr. Owen : DR Owen
Dr. Owen : Have a Great evening

thank you very much
