How regular have your wife's periods been?Is your wife overweight? Thank you.
she is 37 160lbs her 28 but sometimes they last 9 days and it has lasted 14 days before we did the ultra sound that came back good and fibroids binine
Since her doctor prescribed norethindrone, I assume that was because her doctor thinks there is a hormonal problem causing the long periods. The same hormonal problem could cause the spotting and cramping that she's having now. It can be resolved with norethindrone, if your wife would take it. Most women have very few side effects from norethindrone. The alternative is to wait and see if the bleeding continues, and she may need another D&C. The fibroids may also be contributing to the spotting, cramping, and long periods. I think the best thing would be that your wife find a good doctor that she likes and she'll take the medicine prescribed. Best wishes.
