42 years old. Period cycle seems to be shorter in last 6 months (from 26 to 22-23 days) and no period this month at all. Not pregnant and have been trying. For 3-4 months got no results for ovulation surge. What could be wrong? Had a regular pap test only 2 months ago.

No, none of the above
Excessive stress at work or home?
Did you start strenuous exercise?
Not really - I have a pretty demanding job, but no more stress than would be normal. I run 4-5 time a week - 8km
I have been a regular runner for years
Have you had a pelvic exam and an ultrasound lately?
No, last ultrasound was after last pregnancy 3 years ago
any medical problem?
Cruciate ligament rupture last year
Any weight change?
Does your partner have his own children?
Put on a few kilos after cruciate injury and lost them over 3-4 months (around 4kgs)
My partner is the father of my daughter
How long have you been trying to get pregnant?
Did you notice anything which might have brought this on?
It was only with the ovulation kit and counting that I realised cycles have got shorter. I have never had a missed period in my life (except pregnancy). I'm wondering if it's the running? Or just the age factor? Should I get an ultrasound?
You should see an infertility specialist to have a blood test including hormones, a pelvic exam and an ultrasound.
Ok, will do. Thanks for your help
