42 years old. Period cycle seems to be shorter in last 6 months (from 26 to 22-23 days) and no period this month at all. Not pregnant and have been trying. For 3-4 months got no results for ovulation surge. What could be wrong? Had a regular pap test only 2 months ago.

It was only with the ovulation kit and counting that I realised cycles have got shorter. I have never had a missed period in my life (except pregnancy). I'm wondering if it's the running? Or just the age factor? Should I get an ultrasound?
You should see an infertility specialist to have a blood test including hormones, a pelvic exam and an ultrasound.
Ok, will do. Thanks for your help
