Where do I start? 43 yrs old. No sexual intercourse for 9 years. First time since- 6th April (last day of period), condom breaks spectacularly, only knew after ejeculation. Plan B pill 15 hours after. One week later barest spotting for 4 days, full bleeding for 2, spotting again for another 4. Cramping just like menstrual cramping crossed with ovulation pain most days since then. Last night kept me awake. Home Pregtest negative. No std/sid tests or docs visit yet. What could be causing pain this long after map.?many many thanks!!!

After the use of Plan B there can be irregularity in the menstruation or cycle. Cramps and hormonal imbalance can be possible . The other possibility can be due to infection. When you have taken Plan B within 15 hours and bleeding occured and pregnancy test is negative, the possibility of pregnancy is almost nil. No tests done for std as yet. Two home preg tests done as there was sexual activity 4 times after first episode. no breakage of condoms next times but entry of partner without condom happened several times before condom was put on. No other medical condition or history. No children. No sexual activity for 9 years. Morning after pill taken 9 yrs ago with no ill effect. Constant dull pain not shooting but very agravating. Partner 10 yrs younger. Thought ectopic but definitely no other symptoms and no symptoms for stds other than constant pain. On scale of 1-10 probably a 6.
The possibility of pregnancy or ectopic is not there as you had sex on the last day of the period, taken Plan B, had bleeding there after, over all the pregnancy tests are negative. Besides STD other infection can be possible.
