I'm 26 yrs old. My period's been regular the past 5 years showing up either the last or the 1st weekends of the months. I've had unprotected sex 2 times since my last cycle, and am now a week late. I have been having trouble staying asleep, and trouble pooping. 2 days ago I realized I have a yeast infection. This morning a took an ept pregnancy test with a negative result, which I thought could have been from my drinking too much through the night when I couldn't sleep. I took another test 3 hrs later and there was no result. Should I be looking to make a doctor's appointment or should I wait to see if my period shows up next month?
Optional Information: Person's Age: 26 Already Tried: 2 Ept pregnancy tests
Hello, and I am pleased to help, use of my answers are for educational purposes only.If you are a week late and the EPT test is negative you are not pregnant.THese tests are very accurate by this time especially 7 days after you miss a period. So, you might not have ovulated this cycle which occurs more frequently than you think. This could be due to stress/ anxiety or even weight conditions. Also, this could be due to a thryoid condition such as hypothyroidism - which can be tested with a TSH thyroid blood test. This could also be an elevated prolactin level that can be tested with another blood test - called prolactin. So, if you are concerned, do one more test ina few days to confirm or ask your doctor to do a blood test which can be a little more sensitive.I hope this helpsPlease Provide Excellent feedback, thank you
The trouble making complete bowel movements and a yeast infection are just coincidental?
i would say very coincidental - and for the bowel movement try fiber and a stool softener such as colace, and even milk of Magnesia and for the Yeast infection Vagistat.I hope this helps, Please provide Excellent Feedbackthank you
