Customer Question

I took Plan B March 19 and started my Period April 4- Which was about a week earlier than normal. I had protected sex April 9 the day after my period ended, my periods are normally regular 28-30 days. based on the start date of my period in April- I should have started by now. I haven't started but I have taken multiple pregnancy test and they all say negative- I have taken then after different times and days. Would the plan b still affect my period that next month after??

No. Plan B can affect the next period, but won't have any effect after that. However, lots of other things can affect a period and cause it to be late, especially stress or illness. As long as a first morning urine test done after a period is due is negative, pregnancy is unlikely. I suspect that something else has caused this period to be late. Most likely it will come in its own time. If you go another week without a period, I'd repeat the test, since it's possible that you ovulated late. However, if April 9 was the last time you had sex, then there is no chance that you're pregnant now as long as a recent test was negative. I hope that's helpful.
