Customer Question

I have a black lump on the inside of my vagina lip. I have had something similar on the other side and my obgyn said that it was something similar to a varicous vein. I am 25 years old. I wear protection while sexually active. I am concerned what this is.
Please help.
I am not currently on my period, I am on birthcontrol.
When I was little I was afraid of getting warts in my nether regions because they were so frequent on my hands, once again my doctor said this is unlikely as well.

How long have you had this?
How big is this?
Where EXACTLY on the lip is this?

Customer: replied 5 years ago.
I noticed it yesterday morning. I just thought it would go away. However I became more neverous about it today.

about a pimple size. Its black. closer to the edge of the lip not farther in. its on the exterior mid interior way in.

Is it painful?
So, this is NEW then?
Customer: replied 5 years ago.
no... just unnerving to feel.

yes. I have had something (if not the same thing unsure) before, but it decreased in size and went away rather quickly before

This could be something and MOST likely nothing more than a possible follicular sebaceous cyst and this is what this sounds like. Cancer on the vagina does NOT usually present like this, especially at your young age.
Also, this does NOT sound like a STD either.
I hope this helps.
