what does breakthrough bleeding exactly look like during early pregnancy? from my research, its a lot like a period but lighter, but not as light as spotting..
Breakthrough bleeding is nothing special, it is same as menstrual bleeding but may vary in amount and in duration.This amount and duration depends on the surface area of endometrial tissue breakage or separated.Usually when the patient is on low dose bc the estrogen level is not sufficient to maintain the endometrial lining and breakage occurs and thus bleeding occurs.Estorgen dose has to be increased to stop this breakthrough bleeding.Thank you Any doubt, please ask. thanks for the response..i was just wondering because i got my period on time but its definitely not a normal period...it only came out when i used the bathroom...& i also had pink spotting before it..could it be pregnancy? or just a wierd period..
