Dr. Wilson :

Hello, and I am pleased to help, use of my answers are for educational purposes only.

Dr. Wilson :

How big is the cyst

JACUSTOMER-2swvq0ck- :

I actually don't know but when I compare the size of ovaries can't be big

Dr. Wilson :

Do you use any birth control

JACUSTOMER-2swvq0ck- :

not yet the cyst was found last month so I was suppose to use Jasmin frm 5th of my cycle, which I'm not getting

Dr. Wilson :

You are not going to use the birth control???

JACUSTOMER-2swvq0ck- :

yes, but the doctor told me to use Jasmin to help with cyst, starting on 5th of my period and I don't know if this brownish discharge is my period to start the pill

Dr. Wilson :

Did you do a pregnancy test

JACUSTOMER-2swvq0ck- :

no, I haven't had unprotected intercourse

Dr. Wilson :

This brown discharge could be anything- from a possible pregnancy to an infection

JACUSTOMER-2swvq0ck- :

so what sould I do?

JACUSTOMER-2swvq0ck- :

the discharge is not smelly, no itchyness or any sign of infection

Dr. Wilson :

so, this is NOT likely to be a BV (bacterial vaginosis) infection

Dr. Wilson :

But, could be another type of infection, but most likely just old blood, or possible blood from an ovarian cyst

JACUSTOMER-2swvq0ck- :

how can I make sure? do I need to wait? because I feel all symptoms of gettig my period, cramps ..., I'm so wooried about pregnancy

JACUSTOMER-2swvq0ck- :

and also I don't know if I can start my pills now

Dr. Wilson :

Well, take a pregnancy test if you are less than 3 to 4 days from your period.

Dr. Wilson :

Also, this is usually not much to be too concerned about -

JACUSTOMER-2swvq0ck- :

I had my period last month on second so I have past the day like last month, cause since I hav ethe cyst my cycle is not normal

Dr. Wilson :

And, you do have normal PAP smears?

JACUSTOMER-2swvq0ck- :

I haven't had any PAP smears

Dr. Wilson :

You have NEVER had a PAP smear ever?

JACUSTOMER-2swvq0ck- :

I just had blood test and sonogram and the doctor said its a simple cyst

JACUSTOMER-2swvq0ck- :

never

Dr. Wilson :

Oh, simple cyst - that is absolutely normal - we do not treat these except with birth control pills or something similar

Dr. Wilson :

I would suggest a PAP smear too, this could be abnormal cervical cells.

Dr. Wilson :

Are you really in Iran

JACUSTOMER-2swvq0ck- :

yes? y?

Dr. Wilson :

Wow - I'm in the U.S.

Dr. Wilson :

But, you should have a PAP smear - it is recommended to have a PAP smear starting at age 21 and every year there after

JACUSTOMER-2swvq0ck- :

so do I need to see a doctor? shall I start the pills now?

JACUSTOMER-2swvq0ck- :

here they don't do it until you are sexually active!!!! actually not married!!!

Dr. Wilson :

So, you are not sexually active, correct?

Dr. Wilson :

By the way, you write English very well

JACUSTOMER-2swvq0ck- :

since six months only

JACUSTOMER-2swvq0ck- :

and as it is long distance only every two months

Dr. Wilson :

OH, okay - so unlikely abnormal cervical cells then

JACUSTOMER-2swvq0ck- :

thanks

Dr. Wilson :

Since most abnormal cervical cells are from HPV (Human Papilloma Virus

Dr. Wilson :

which is sexually transmitted

JACUSTOMER-2swvq0ck- :

then this will go away?

JACUSTOMER-2swvq0ck- :

because I read in internet this can continue up to 3 months!

Dr. Wilson :

And, so I would start the birth control pills - this is most likely due to hormonal fluctuations and the pills will help

Dr. Wilson :

Yes, this will all go away.

Dr. Wilson :

Nice to talk to you from the other side of the world

JACUSTOMER-2swvq0ck- :

ok then thank you so much,

JACUSTOMER-2swvq0ck- :

yes I still can't believe it

Dr. Wilson :

keep in contact - always curious about your country

JACUSTOMER-2swvq0ck- :

cause I'm suddenly so afraid and couldn't find a doctor at 3:0 a.m

Dr. Wilson :

I understand

JACUSTOMER-2swvq0ck- :

a beautiful country

Dr. Wilson :

There is nothing you need to worry about

JACUSTOMER-2swvq0ck- :

nice people

Dr. Wilson :

I've never been there

JACUSTOMER-2swvq0ck- :

you should visit sometime

Dr. Wilson :

I've had friends stationed there when the Shah was in power - before your time

JACUSTOMER-2swvq0ck- :

thanks doctor anyway

Dr. Wilson :

we aren't allowed to visit your country

JACUSTOMER-2swvq0ck- :

so these pills I should take one per day any time?

Dr. Wilson :

Yes, they should

JACUSTOMER-2swvq0ck- :

yes you are allowed but most probably affraid!

Dr. Wilson :

wish we could exchange emails - but we can't - take care

JACUSTOMER-2swvq0ck- :

take care

JACUSTOMER-2swvq0ck- :

thank you so much

JACUSTOMER-2swvq0ck- :

bye
