I have been having a foul smelling discharge just before i have my period each month. I also notice that whenever I urinate there is the presence of tiny bubbles floating on top and tiny whitish particles which gives the urine a cloudy appearance. I will add that I sometimes have acute pain during sexual intercourse especially if my legs are raised; the pain becomes more severe, almost unbearable.

Foul smelling discharge just before periods is indication of infection.
PH of the vagina is changed before periods and the balance between normal bacteria( lactobaccilli) and abnormal germs in vagina is changed and it leads to growth of yeast, or other bacterial over growth .
Foul smelling is usually not caused by yeast but by bacterial infection.
There might also be a yeast component.
Vaginitis makes intercourse painful.
It must be directly examined and treated based on the cause.
Cloudy urine with bubbles is sign of infection as well. More protein in urine also makes it more forthy.Any protein in urine is abnormal and cause must be figured out.
You should get urine analysis to confirm the abnormality.

Thank you so very much for that answer. I was so afraid to go to the doctor because I was so scared. I had actually tried to douche, take garlic capsules, acidophilus capsules, folic acid and biotin all from the health food store hoping that it would change things. I even bought some horsetail grass capsules, but I havent taken them as I was afraid to take too many things without knowing what the effects would be. Now that I feel like I am noy about to die, I will go to a local physician. I always dread going....
