let me explain like this; uterine fibroids generaly don't cause swelling of legs ,BUT there are chances of leg swelling if there's Big uterine fibroids, that may compress inferior vena cava leading to thrombosis of the iliac, common femoral, superficial femoral, deep femoral, greater saphenous, posterior tibial, and popliteal, peroneal, and soleal veins (these are all the vessels that may be affected ..here is a link where you can find more information about uterine fibroids.
