Hello,

Welcome to just answer.

Vaginal candidiasis is not a sexually transmitted disease.

A pelvic examination will be done for diagnosis and can be diagonsed as symptoms start.

It may show inflammation of the skin of the vulva, within the vagina, and on the cervix. The health care provider may find dry, white plaques on the vaginal wall.

A wet prep (microscopic evaluation of vaginal discharge) shows Candida.

Thanks

I'm sorry that the other expert seemed to have misundertood your question.

Are you asking how long it takes to do a test to detect chlamydia OR are you asking how long it takes to detect chlamydia after you have been exposed?

I am asking how long it takes to detects chlamydia after you have been exposed?
Expert:  FamilyPhysician replied 8 years ago.
The incubation period (from exposure to "infection") is about 1-3 weeks although about 50% of men and 80% of women are asymptomatic. The only way to know for sure if you have this infection would be to see your physician to have a test done.

I'm sorry for the delay:

It is VERY unlikely that contact within the last 48 hours would be detected.
