Hello, It sounds as if the key you are using has gone bad. Do you have a second key that you could try, if you haven't already?

Expert:  Eric Gardner replied 8 days ago.

If that doesn't work I have a few more ideas to try.

Customer: replied 8 days ago.
I dont have a second key unfortunately.
Expert:  Eric Gardner replied 7 days ago.

Unfortunately, I think we have a key problem. The only way to fix this is to tow the vehicle to a Nissan dealer and have a key made and programed to the car.

Please let me know if you have any further questions.

I did that. The dealer says the lock circuit is broken and it needs to be replaced. Costs $1100 incl manual labor. Does this seem reasonable?
Expert:  Eric Gardner replied 2 days ago.

I can look up the part and labor for you. Can you get me the correct name of the part that needs to be replaced.
