2009 Altima - intermitted will not start when you depress

2009 Altima - intermitted will not start when you depress brake. if you stomp it a couple time - it start. like to get corrected as I am preparing to sell it to my nephen
JA: Have you checked the battery, particularly the terminal connections? Are they corroded?
Customer: battery fine - -replace last year
JA: Are you fixing your Altima yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: have not try anything yet
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: that it - the car is great other then that

There is a brake switch on the back of the brake pedal, if that switch is going bad it will cause this problem. I would replace the switch.
