Programming or updating the Ecm is different than programming a blank TCM. What tool are you using to program the TCM with the latest software? How are you determining the software version?
Where are you downloading the software?
That is where you get the proper software to program the blank TCM. Have you ever programmed a blank Ecm with the software you use?
I know the Nissan Software actually extracts the file and will more or less make installing the software painless. I am not familiar with the software you are using to determine if it can do the programming for a Blank TCM.
Is there a support number for your software where you can contact them for help?
What software version do you have?
I have been working so I may have read it, then forgot.. sorry.
Did you try reaching out to the software support staff about this?
I have little experience using other software. I use the scanner from the dealer. I never have a issue
Yeah.. I quickly looked up and there is some phone numbers you can call to reach out to see if you can get some sort of support on your software to help you. They know your software better than I do.
You can try calling Nissan at 1-800-Nissan1 and ask who to speak to about supporting their software.
Techmate is who we call for software issues with our scanner. Maybe try there.
