Hi Im David, it can mean a few things. Low brake fluid. Parking brake not fully released. Brake pads need replaced. Is the ABS light on also?

Brake fluid is at normal level, new brakes all around, parking is working fine, no Abs is not on

when did you do the brake pad replacement? anlso was anthing else in the system replaced? i.e. caliper?

The light was on before with Abs light, module was bad and was replaced then light went off and never came back on till last week

But if it was an abs issue, the abs light should come on along with brake light, right ?

absolutely. im just thinking theres air in the system since the module was replaced.

make sure its not damaged. you may even want to do a wiggle test on the wiring to see if the brake light flickers

also, i know you said the parking brake works fine, but with it released, reach under and pull up on the pedal. see if the light goes out
