if the crank sensor is bad on that engine the car will not start . most likly you have a bad distributor

I have replaced the plugs dist cap rotor button tps gutted both converters .the prob happened all at once both manifolds turn red runs about long enough to get warm then dies smell of fuel strong. And a miss it sounds like and. Was not showing any codes in comp and no power. And everything is the same still

you have a bad distributor you should go ahead and replace the unit

it is loosing spark and causing fuel to be dump into the cat causing them to over heat

you will end up having to replace the cats if you keep running the engine like this

your loosing spark and the distributor is what sends sparks to the engine plus they are know to go bad and cause the problems your having .
