Had this same problem the other day on a customer's vehicle. You need to navigate through the cluster menu to the door locks area. I don't remember exactly what it was called. But if it is disabled or enabled it can cause the door locks not to function.

Hello my name is ***** ***** thank you for your question.

Do you still need help with this?

Customer: replied 7 months ago.
thank you. I was not able to find cluster menu for dood locks as other mechanic suggested. Door locks for other 4 doors work fine
Expert:  Jay replied 7 months ago.

Your car does not have that option to turn it on and off from the cluster. You do have a on and off switch I believe on the drivers side where your left knee is located.

Other wise, I would like you to try a hard reset to see if that returns it to normal operation. To do the hard reset all you need to do is disconnect the negative battery cable for 15 mins. Then connect it. After you connect it, see if the rear hatch operation returns to normal. If it does, let me know..
