Customer Question

2004 Nissan Altima had an episode of not starting, the interior lights did not light up, but the outside lights were on. On second or third try it started and has started everytime since without incident. I was going to take to local mechanic to check it out, but now hesitant as I am afraid the ignition system might be the problem and wondering if the key system would be effected if it is in fact the ignition system problem.
JA: What is the voltage at the battery?
Customer: I don't know, would have to check on that
JA: Are you fixing your Altima yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: not fixing myself, haven't checked anything yet, was going to have local mechanic check it, but leary d/t key programming may need to be reprogrammed if its ignition is an issue
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: no
