Nissan car immobilized triggered, keyless fob. Tried

Customer Question

Nissan car immobilized triggered, keyless fob. Tried inserting key into slot on left but no effect. Have two fobs, only seems to be recognizing one.
JA: Have you checked the fob's battery?
Customer: Neither fob was giving any warning prior to this happening. Have had batteries replaced before. Have a two year old that was monkeying around in there, think he set it off
JA: What is the model/year of your Nissan?
Customer: How can I check the fob batteries when the car is non-responsive? 2012 Maxina
JA: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I inserted both fobs into the insert slot on the driver's left to no effect other than it will kick into acc mode briefly with one of them, then kick back to lock and the security light will flash and click.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: Not that I can think of
