That would not have anything to do with the transmission shifting. Only the gear selector coming out of park. If you are experiencing a shifting issue, then I would start with checking the fluid level and if that is good, it will need to be checked by a professional to isolate what the shifting issue is. Whether it's electronic, or mechanical
