I cant seem to get it to start although it cranks repeatedly and strong It is a 2003 2.5L nissan altima
JA: Will the headlights turn on? Is the battery fully charged?
Customer: Yes
JA: Are you fixing your Altima yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Yes. I have tried roll starting it. Its standard as well. I have checked the fuel pump doesnt seem to be the issue. But that is about it
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

we need fuel & spark to start

so you have fuel but do you have spark ,can you check ?

how many miles on it ?

the engine spinning to fast is not good , did you jump timing ? do you know how to check timing ?

any noise from the front engine cover ?

Not sure how to check for spark.. But i do think there is a possibility of flooded spark plugs.. Im currently at work and came across this sight whilst looking for info on the symptoms

Not aware how to check timing either. But i did hook it to a computer 2 days ago and the only code that came back was a cylinder 4 miss fire however i do not believe that would make it not start.

yes that is posssibilty

first , pull the spark plugs out and check for fuel on them

second check all fuses underhood fuse box with a test light, replace if any bad

3-most common problems ignition coils , always replace in a set

also ckp (crank shaft position sensor) is common issue for no spark
