How do you remove front axle from the wheel housing when replacing the lower ball joint.
JA: Besides this, what condition is the car in?
Customer: Fine. This is a 2005 Nissan pathfinder
JA: Are you fixing your Pathfinder yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I removed the axle nut, freed the upper ball joint, and removed the tie rod. I have tapped on the axle, and have tried to use clamps to press the shaft thou The housing.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

what is the problem it seem you have the truck apart

I cant remove the axle fom the housing so i can lower the housing off of the ball joint.
