I got my car back from the dealer after an update to the CVT

I got my car back from the dealer after an update to the CVT transmission (recall) and it just started making a clicking noise as I turn sharply and the light indicating a slip comes on
JA: Have you heard this particular sound before?
Customer: no new
JA: What is the model/year of your Nissan?
Customer: 09 SL AWD
JA: Are you fixing your SL yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: no I havent tried any thing yet
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: nope that is it

Not sure exactly. It was a recall that they said updated something took a few hours to do. Paper work says CVT noise, the recall number is ***** nbt09-126. If that helps

is the transmission still under warranty? did you call the dealer?

Not under warranty. It works and runs just started doing this when I turn like through a neighborhood. And it is not every turn. I haven't called the dealer yet was looking online for an answer to my question and stumbled upon your site. If you unable to answer let me know so I can look elsewhere.

It sounds like the cvt is internall failing possibly a chain..they are common for failure...did it trip the engine light
