Nissan Repair Questions? Ask a Mechanic for Answers ASAP
Hello and thank you for your question! My name is ***** ***** I will be assisting you with your question today.
Is this the factory alarm?
When you connect the battery, you should be able to cycle the locks on and off with the remote. If you don't have a remote, then you should be able to turn the key in the driver door to unlock position and hold it until the alarm stops going off.
Give this a try and let me know. You may have to close the hood as well before you attempt this.
did you use the fob or the door switch?
sorry, I thought that the alarm was going off when you hooked up the battery.
did you use the key or are you using the key fob?
can you kindly answer my question please?
Close the hood and all doors except the driver side. Lock the doors with the master switch on the driver side door and close it. Wait 30 seconds, unlock the door with the button on the remote, wait 30 seconds and open the door.
If you are using the mechanical key, insert the key into the door lock cylinder, turn it to unlock and hold it for more then 3 seconds, then open the door. This should disable the FACTORY alarm.
Sorry, that's all I have for you.
I will open this up for the other experts.
PLEASE DO NOT REPLY OR IT WILL LOCK IT TO ME.
sorry I was unable to help you today.
