Customer Question

2010 Nissan Altima Hybrid won't start. Received codes P0A0F, P3000, U0100. Replaced coils with used and was able to get it to crank with jumper cables. Car died once cables were removed. I am thinking that it is not the battery, since it was able to start but died once cables were removed which sounds like an alternator issue but since it's a hybrid, possibly an issue with the regenerative braking system.
JA: Have you checked the battery, particularly the terminal connections? Are they corroded?
Customer: Nope not corroded
JA: Are you fixing your Altima Hybrid yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Replaced coils with used and was able to get it to crank with jumper cables. Car died once cables were removed.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: no
