No matter how much I push accelerator car will not go over

No matter how much I push accelerator car will not go over 20 mph it's like it's stuck in 1st or 2nd gear. Engine will also die on me replace both cam sensors so not sure what else to do
JA: How old is the transmission? Have you checked the brake switch?
Customer: Transmission has 184,000 miles on it but there was no gradual decline. One day it worked next day it didn't . What's the brake switch? I don't feel any brake engaging just lack of drive
JA: What is the model/year of your Nissan?
Customer: 2004 maxima
JA: Are you fixing your Maxima yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Yes just replacing both cam sensors so far
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

what are the codes that you go before ?

Don't remember several folks told me problem was cam sensors including some mechanics and I just don't have the codes on me I will be home in 30 minutes and then I can give them to you

not good . this is a no no for this car . every cam and crank sensors that i ever got at auto zone for a Nissan i had to return and get it from the dealer , they are all crap .if you have a cam sensor code you should remove return the auto zone sensors and get sensors fro Nissan .

the only code here that can cause the trans to shift bad is the cam sensor code so get new sensors and install
