Nissan Repair Questions? Ask a Mechanic for Answers ASAP
Hi, welcome to Just Answer. I’m Ron and I’ll be helping youtoday. Before we get started though, Please understand that I don't knowyour skill level or tools you have to assist us. Also understand thatI can't see, smell, hear, or touch the vehicle either, so patience isappreciated. JA is a great Q/A site, but it does NOT replace arepair shop.My goal is to make you happy and get a great rating in return formy time. Sometimes I have to give you bad news that I know youdidn’t want to hear, so please don’t shoot the messenger.
Okay, with that scenario, either the code reader/scan tool is not compatible with your system or your computer is bad for not recognizing the codes to set them. Once we get that corrected, we can then move on to find that misfire which can be ignition, fuel or compression.
I know, nothing got fixed yet, so that would indicate a bad computer because it's not recognizing the misfire that the CRANK sensor is reporting. I'm sure their scan tool is working right at Nissan, at least I hope it is:)
Thanks again and please remember to rate me 5 stars and keep this link in case you still need me again later on.
