Removing camshafts on 2008 Nissan Rogue.

Removing camshafts on 2008 Nissan Rogue.

Hi Dan,
More specifically on this Rogue there is very little room (from face of bolt to frame) to get a wrench in to remove the single bolt for camshaft pulleys (especially the cam with variable timing gizmo). Can the engine be raised up? If it is raised about 3" I think I can get the wrench on it. And this is a AWD version.

Yes you will just need to remove mount bolts and you can raise it the 3". AWD and FWD have same procedure, it is a 5.1 hour job book rate to replace both camshafts. Let me know if you have more questions, thanks.

Do you have illustration of the mount bolt locations?

Here is diagram, let me know if you run into more questions. THanks.
