Customer Question

I haven't driven my 2013 maxima in about 4 months. The security indicator light is blinking like I think it should but the car won't start. Lights come on so I don't think it's the battery. I don't really have to tow it to a dealer like the manual says, do I?
JA: Do you have the trouble code? Do you have a code reader or scan tool?
Customer: I don't know what that is
JA: I'll pass this info along to the Nissan Mechanic so that he can get you a quick fix. Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Nothing except trying to start it and nothing happebs
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: No
