2011 Nissan Rogue. 84,000 miles. Problem: CVT oil overheats

2011 Nissan Rogue. 84,000 miles.
Problem: CVT oil overheats and car goes into "failsafe" mode with loss of power.
Solution: Oil cooler. But there is nowhere to connect an aftermarket cooler up front, near the radiator(s). What are my options? Thanks, Bob

Hello. My name is ***** ***** I will be helping you today.

Assuming you intend to keep the factory cooler as well as an aftermarket you could tap into any of the hoses.

I am attaching a document showing the system. 2, 4, 8 or 11 would all work.

Lets use 11 as an example.

Cut it in half.

Install a barbed coupler into each end of the cut.

Connect another length of line to each of the barbed fittings and run the opposite end of those lengths of hose to your new cooler.

Double clamp each connection with a high quality worm drive hose clamp and you shouldnt have any leaks.
