hello
Expert:  Jay replied 6 months ago.

Hello my name is ***** ***** thank you for your question.

Most common on these old Nissan's with Manual Transmissions when they don't start is the Inhibitor Relay. This is normally located on the drivers side inside fender area and looks like this.

Expert:  Jay replied 6 months ago.

I would start by changing that relay. That is the most common.

Do you have any more questions on this?

Customer: replied 6 months ago.
i am looking at chiltons manual , is that what the refer to as an interlock relay? what color is it? if i change it and that is not the problem how do i get ahold of you for further help
Expert:  Jay replied 6 months ago.
The manual you are using my call it a different name. It should look almost exactly as the image I shared. That is one I have that I use to plug in tonget these trucks to start so I can get them in the shop. You are welcome to return back to this question if you have any more questions on this.
