Nissan Repair Questions? Ask a Mechanic for Answers ASAP
Hello my name is ***** ***** thank you for your question.
The power windows and power door locks are controlled by the BCM. Are those the only things not working?
You are welcome to check these two fuses. But if they are good, you maybe dealing with a internal issue in the BCM causing your windows and locks not to work.
Do you have any more questions on this?
The BCM is located under the drivers side dash. It's not something you can do yourself. It has a configuration that needs to be saved using a scanner, that is then written to the new BCM since it comes blank. Then once the BCM is replaced, all keys would need to be programmed and all tire pressure sensors would need to be programmed as well.
I would get a test lights and double check the fuses I pointed out and just check them all. If all are good, it will require advanced diag to determine if the BCM is the cause. But the Bcm does control those functions.
