Customer Question

Wondering were the evap canister and charcoal canister on a 2003 Nissan Altima. P1444 code showed up. Replaced hoses on the engine that were rotten. Would like to know where any other related hoses and parts are located, to check them out too.

just looking at the code and it is indicating a canister purge solenoid issue. this is not part of the canister. it is up front in the engine compartment and controls vacuum to the evap system Roy

Is it farly easy to see from under the car cause I've been trying to find it and haven't found it.
Customer: replied 11 months ago.
Where up front would it be?
Expert:  Roy Belding replied 11 months ago.
yes, but as I just stated it is not the issue from the code description. the piece that is the common failure is the purge solenoid located under the hood behind the throttle body as in the picture I have attached Roy
