Nissan 2006 Frontier. The truck was moved a few feet in

Customer Question

Nissan 2006 Frontier. The truck was moved a few feet in driveway and shit down. 10 min later, there is absolutely no spark in the truck. The steering wheel would not lock until I forced it to the left. Now the key won't fit into the ignition. Perplexed

Hello my name is ***** ***** thank you for your question.

The key does not fit in the ignition now? or it goes into the ignition and will not turn?

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
The key did fit into the ignition when the wheel did not lock. I turned the wheel, it locked and then the key would not go into the ignition.

The steering wheel locking should not keep the key from entering the ignition. It could prevent it from turning, is that what you are dealing with?

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
Now the truck is fine. It somehow wasn't registering that it was in park.
Expert:  Jay replied 11 months ago.
That could do it.Do you have any more questions on this?
