hi im Kevin I would agree with your friend you almost certainly have a bent valve or two .When the camshaft snapped the crank continues to turn but the broken part of cam is not in sync so if any of the valves on the broken part were in the open position they would have made contact with piston. The only way to confirm is to have a compression test carried out to see if valves are closing fully

No i unplugged the coils on cylender 2 and 4 and both are not working . Itested on cylender 2
