My 2012 altima will not start. The brake pedal seems pushed

Customer Question

my 2012 altima will not start. The brake pedal seems pushed all the way in, but I cannot get it to depress
JA: Sometimes things that you think will be really complicated end up being easy to fix with a Nissan. The Nissan Mechanic I'm going to connect you with knows all the tricks and shortcuts. Tell me a bit more about what's going on so he can help you best.
Customer: The foot brake pedal next to the accelerator seems to be pushed all the way in. A hard press wont make it move
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself?
Customer: best case scenario yes
JA: Is there anything else the Nissan Mechanic should be aware of about your Nissan?
JA: What else should I tell the Nissan Mechanic?
Customer: thats all
JA: OK. Got it. I'm sending you to a secure page on JustAnswer so you can place the $5 fully-refundable deposit now. While you're filling out that form, I'll tell the Nissan Mechanic about your situation and then connect you two.
