Hello my name is ***** ***** thank you for your question.

Do you know what the exact air bag code is that you are getting?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
No I don't I had it pulled before I just remember it said occupancy sensor inside cushion passenger seat and dealer wants like 1200 for seat
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Like I said three seats can't have the same problem I'm assuming something else in system is wrong
Expert:  Jay replied 1 year ago.

Well it's hard to help with out the exact code. You said you have replaced the passenger seat a few times. Did you have zero point calibration done on the seat after it was replaced?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I had a mechanic just replace seat reset light not sure what a zero point is
Expert:  Jay replied 1 year ago.

Zero point is a calibration done to the seat when there is nothing in it so it can properly detect pressure when someone sits in the seat.

Expert:  Jay replied 1 year ago.

Any time a seat or OCS control unit is replaced, a zero point needs to be done.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Well will that procedure stop light from coming back on?
Expert:  Jay replied 1 year ago.

Hard to say. If it was never done, it can certainly explain why it keeps returning. But then again, I don't know the exact code you are getting either. If I knew that, I would be able to give you more info on the problem.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Where could I have this done?
Expert:  Jay replied 1 year ago.

Since you saw the dealer, I would ask if they tried to do a Zero point on the seat. That simply calibration could simply resolve your issue.

Expert:  Jay replied 1 year ago.

Dealer or maybe body shop could do the Zero point reset for you.
