Have a 2000 Frontier and the heater blows warm at idle

Customer Question

Have a 2000 Frontier and the heater blows warm at idle but goes go as soon as you start moving. Have been told it is the heater core. I know some vehicles are fairly easy and others you have to remove the entire dash. How hard of a job is it on the Frontier?

Hello my name is ***** ***** thank you for your Question.

Your answer is much cheaper than a heater core. You normally get this issue when there is air trapped in the coolant system. Simply bleeding out the system will resolve your issue.

How handy are you? Is this something you would be doing? I can instruct you on how it's done.
