We have a 2005 nissan frontier that will not start we replaced the fuel pump and the IPDM still no start we have no power to punp any suggestions

is the ecm supplying a ground to the fuel pump relay ??

fuel pump fuse and relay are good im going to test n see if the ecu is supplying ground to the relay now

check for a ground at pin 46 of the ipdm with the key on and cranking

the largest white 12 pin plug on the ipdm contains pin 46 correct ? if so what color/guage wire is it ...not having much luck finding a diagram for it

i used my power probe to test this wire for ground ....when the key is in the off position i have ground but when it is keyed to on or cranking i loose the ground

i checked it with the key on and there is no ground

the only time it shows its grounded is when the key is in the off position

did you check it while cranking the engine over ??

i scanned it and did live data looking from cranking rpms when it came in and it had 2 pending cat efficiency codes

did you spray some starter fluid in the in intake see if it start ??

run a ground wire to the pin and see if the engine start

you can just use the power probe to ground the pin

no i did not try starting fluid ...i bet it would fire over but i have no fuel or pressure at the rail

ground the 46 pin and check for power at pin pin 13 at the ipmd

i located what i beleive is pin 13 in the largest white plug with the most pins the wire i have is white with a red tracer and i have power at that wire with the key on and off even with pin 46 grounded
