2004 Nissan Sentra 1.8L Timing Belt or Chain? What mileage intervals for change? Should one replace the water pump as well? 110,000 miles I purchased used What other issues should I be informed about? Exhaust recently replaced.

The 2004 Sentra use a timing chain not belt.

There is no mileage intervals for change. It is supposed to last as long as the engine.

If you are going to replace the chain it is recommended to replace the water pump.

You should replace the spark plugs, air filter, brake fluid and coolant at this mileage.
