Did you get those coils from Autozone, Advance or O'Reilly auto stores?

I have seen this happening many times in the shop.

The coils are not the problem, what's burning them out. The vehicle idle fine but estate when applying fuel

Make sure the alternator is outputing within specification. These coil will fry if the amphere spike.

The ECU was also a known issue into firing the coil.
