Try leaving the air cleaner on but disconnecting the mass air flow sensor, then start the truck and see if it runs like the air filter is off.
Let me know.
Sounds good, thanks.
May seem a stupid question, but is the air filter clean?
Also check the oil and see if it smells like fuel, if it does the truck may be flooding out due to fuel vapors in the oil coming into the engine through the breather.
Sorry that's all I have for you on this. I am going to open it back up for the other experts. We have a couple of Nissan techs with a bit more experience that might be able to help out. Please DO NOT reply to me or it will lock it to me. Try to be patient, one is likely going to pick this up.
hi,the pcv valve or hose may be clogged -upper engine area, mounted in intake manifold
it n is mounted in the intake manifold -it should be near the throttle body
is is screwed into the intake manifold ,I dont have a daigram ,but follow the hoses ,it will be a 5/16 or 3/8 hose attached to it.
this doesnt look like a normal pcv valve ..jazzmaster .
also, check the hose as well for being clogged ,,thank you ..jazzmaster
If I have helped you please rate me positive and we can still continue if needed .
this is the only way I receive credit ,,thank you ..jazzmaster ..
ok, thank you ..jazzmaster ..
if the pcv or hose to that are clogged this will cause the issue .as the system can't breathe right ..
see if this helps .the hose is either 5/16 or 3/8 in size and you need to look at all the hoses perhaps to find the pcv valve
the part number in the diagram is -11810
you are welcome ,there will be a hose attached to the pcv valve with a clamp ..thank you ..jazzmaster ..
